On February 14th, all residents in Fable will receive a letter in their mailboxes. It's from the Mayor! And it seems that she has a task in mind for everyone."Happy Hearts Day, Villagers!
It's your dutiful dog Mayor, Bluebell!
How are you settling in? I know a lot of you haven't been here for very long ...
That's why I've decided to set up a scavenger hunt for you, as a chance to get to know your fellow Villagers in Fable! The task is simple. All you have to do is meet someone who meets any of the criteria listed below! In exchange, I'll give you some nice things for your cottage. How exciting!
Simply get out there and complete these tasks. Then swing by my office and I'll reward you! Have fun!!

When you look inside of the envelope, you see the list of tasks that Mayor Bluebell has written for you to complete. And if you're thinking of bluffing your way through these tasks to fool her into getting free stuff - think again! There is a check box beside each task where a check mark will magically appear when they're completed. Can't forge anything in a world with magic, it seems!
The scavenger hunt list is as follows:
❖ Find out someone's favourite ice cream flavour
❖ Learn someone's birthday
❖ Find out someone's favourite animal
❖ Ask someone what they're most passionate about
❖ Discover someone's favourite meal, drink and dessert
❖ Give someone a hug!
For every task completed, Mayor Bluebell will reward you with a random flower seed packet, shrub starter, vegetable seed packet, garden ornament, useful tool or furniture piece! You're welcome to specify which!

Care for some candy? Although, you're pretty sure these are cookies ... In any case, there are several fairies flying around Fable throughout the month of February with trays filled with complimentary candies! Upon first glance, they just look like a regular plain heart, but once they're picked up, they will tell you something you really need to hear right now. Something to warm you from the inside out! And in turn, you will be very inspired to pay that good feeling forward.Once you consume one of these candies, you won't be able to resist complimenting other people as well. The more you eat, the more compliments you'll give! Hopefully you'll put a few smiles on people's faces today.
Red arrows will give you strong feelings of lust. Oh, my. When did everyone here get so attractive...? You feel like you're on fire. Better go somewhere private if things get heated between you and another.
Yellow arrows will make you feel like sunshine today! If you're usually a grumpy grump, you find yourself filled with inexplicable joy. It's probably contagious!
Pink arrows will fill you with so much love for the people you care about. It's like the holiday spirit of Valentine's has hit you full force! You want to do something to show someone you care about them.
White arrows will give you a case of the hiccups that can only be cured with a kiss! You know the cure, but nobody else does (unless they've been affected too.) What will you do?

There's a dog, sitting on a mushroom ... with a guitar? Okay, actually, that's probably not the strangest thing you've seen so far during your stay in Fable. He flags you over to sit in the circle that he intends to use for an audience. "Hey," he says, "Nice to meet you. My name is KK Herder, the most hip and musical border collie around these parts. Looking for a melody?" Who can refuse a musical dog? Few, most likely. You agree to submit a request to this cool looking pooch.
"Cool, cool. I don't know you, you don't know me. You probably don't know my songs yet. How about you tell me what mood you're in, and I'll play a melody to match it?"
The sky's the limit here, isn't it? You tell the dog the mood you're in. Whether you're feeling happy, or sad, or angry, or excited, or content - there's bound to be a song that fits your mood. (Feeling something not listed here? These are just examples! Please assume that all KK Slider songs are available for all emotions!) After he is done playing, you'll notice your mood intensify. That's one talented dog! And not only this, you are given a copy of the record you listened to. Nice! Now you have music to put in your cottage!

The Fairies of Limerick heard about the letters that the Mayor in Fable sent off to the villagers. (They're certainly prone to gossip!) And after learning about the scavenger hunt taking place, they've decided to help! The Fae may be prone to acts of mischief, but they do show great enthusiasm for the residents of Fable and love to lend support and help with their small doses of magic. If they notice anyone walking around with the Mayor's list in hand, they will invite them to Limerick to see the mid-winter mushrooms!Around this time of year, right before the arrival of Spring, the magically charged mushrooms in the forests of Limerick carry a bioluminescent glow. The residents of Limerick enjoy taking part in various social activities while this time is upon them - which provides a fun climate for making friends! Because Limerick is mostly inhabited by Fairies and anthropomorphic woodland animals, the ability to become small is necessary. With a wave of their magic wand, they'll temporarily transform you into a fairy! You can't perform any magic, but you do have tiny iridescent wings and the ability to fly small distances.
❖ The Tavern is certainly bustling at this time of year! The bartenders are creatively using the mushrooms to spice up the drinks by making them glow. The Fae promise you that if you buy at least two drinks for other people here, you'll receive a random piece of mushroom furniture!
❖ There are special edible mushrooms that can be found while Foraging! They're small and blue with a bright glow. It might be wise that you gather them with another person, since they're very similar to another type of small blue mushroom. It's difficult to see, but the imposter mushrooms have faint white spots on the cap. These ones will cause excessive giggling when touched. The antidote? Ironically, being tickled. Whoops! Have fun with that, if it happens to you! Gathering these mushrooms and handing them to the Fae will earn you a random piece of mushroom furniture!
❖ You may have heard about the legend of Fairy rings in your world - that if you step inside of one, you'll start dancing! The same definitely applies here! The only way to see free yourself from dancing for an eternity is to dance with another person. Once you throw down in a fairy ring with someone, you'll receive a random piece of mushroom furniture!
❖ The bioluminescent flora can be used to make striking Flower crowns! There may be someone who seems as though they would really suit one. If you craft a flower crown and gift one to three people, you'll receive a random piece of mushroom furniture!

You've heard of the dragon overseer of Fable named Prism. Much to your surprise, you have been requested for an audience with him of great urgency. It would be greatly unwise to ignore the call of the ruler of this land, and you will be given directions to find him in his castle.Venturing into the wilderness, you see a castle with several flowing waterfalls surrounding it on a hilltop. In here, Prism the dragon awaits your arrival. After walking through the incredible building, you find the magnificent white dragon perched on a platform surrounded by water.
"Hello there, Resident ... my name is Prism. I am the overseer and designer of Fable. You may be wondering why I have called out to you today."
You listen intently, and allow him to explain. Extending one of his feathered wings, he gestures upwards to a magnificent large stained glass window conveying himself surrounded by several smaller dragons holding fruit. Could it be...?
"Look up there. This stained glass window ... it was created by my siblings and I back when they were still here. You will notice many of the glass panels are missing, and ... there is a reason for that."
Prism lowers his head.
"This pane window was made with our memories. Occasionally, our memories would show in the glass. But with them no longer here, I am ... regrettably, starting to forget them. Without a memory present in the magical glass pane, the window is falling apart."
He turns to you, with a melancholic tone present in his voice.
"I hate to ask such an important favour. But since you have magic, I need your help to repair this window. The shards of glass have vanished downstream, and I require you to recover them for me and fill them with a new memory. Don't worry, the glass is tapered on the edges, and you will not hurt your hands. I am not sure what kind of memory you may experience when you touch the shard, but you would have this dragon's eternal gratitude. I advise you do not go through this alone."
If you agree to Prism's request, you are now tasked with recovering some of the magical glass shards from the broken window. Find someone to search through the shallow streams to locate the shards of memory glass. As thanks for your help, Prim will reward you with a custom stained glass piece and 10,000 gold.

Depending on the colour of the shard you find is the kind of memory that you will show your companion. Red shards will evoke an angry memory. Orange shards will evoke a mundane memory. Yellow shards will evoke a happy memory. Green shards will evoke a hilarious memory. Blue shards will evoke a sad memory. Purple shards will evoke a traumatic memory. Pink shards will evoke a romantic memory. The memory will be shown on the shard like a clip.

But I'm totally up for a memshare! Malleus has a treasure trove of hilariously tragic memories. Like the time he accidentally set his nation on fire because he got too excited performing a Halloween ritual, or the time he ate a whole cake by himself and get sick... because no one came to his birthday to eat it with him... and apparently he needed to be explicitly told "don't eat the whole cake". He's a good lad but very Fae brained.
