The dragon overseer, Prism, has visited you in your dream tonight! And not just you - but the entirety of Fable. He has an announcement of sorts to make.

"Greetings. You may remember me. I'm Prism, the Overseer of this realm. I want to personally thank you and everyone else who has put forth your efforts to enjoy life here and harvest fruit for my magic. With your assistance, I am confident that one day I will be able to reunite with my missing siblings."

Despite the sad circumstances, it's nice to see that the dragon is optimistic.

"I wanted to put together a fun activity followed by a reward in order to express my gratitude. I will transport you to barren fields in Kanshi once you awaken, and the rest will be self explanatory. I do hope you enjoy it."

Just like the dragon promises, you find yourself being teleported to Kanshi where you will experience the activities that the dragon has thrown together for you! What could he possibly have in mind?

During the beginning of the month, a species of fairy felines called Flittens granted everyone the temporary ability to grow flowers in order to improve the gardens across Fable. The activity proved to be a very successful one - the beautiful floral gardens brighten anyone who sees them. These gardens have been noticed by Prism, who has granted everyone the ability to grow flowers yet again as part of a fun activity followed by an exciting event!

Once you arrive in the blank fields after being transported there by Prism, you make a very startling discovery: You've changed form! You have been transformed into a quadruped (four-legged) animal tasked with running through the fields to fill them with streaks of flowers. The flower type that grows behind you when you run resembles who you are as a person just like the flowers you grew in your garden!

As you start to run, you realise just how cathartic this activity is. Flowers sprout behind you in a trail while you run through the grass. If you decide to stop and smell someone else's flowers, you will become very interested in them. You'll want to follow them through the fields - you may even want to play with them! Eventually, yourself and your acquaintance will reach the edge of the mountain - where a giant floral labyrinth awaits you. This is the task that Prism mentioned he wanted you to complete!

In your animal form, this labyrinth will prove to be an interesting challenge. It is fully magical and will interact with you to try and trip you up or block your path in any way it can! Several challenges may pop up given by the fairies, such as pressing floor tiles to open a path, along with several other RPG style puzzle mechanisms. You can feel free to invent all sorts of fun ways that the fairies will test you and your friend as you navigate the labyrinth together!

Once you reach the end, you are teleported away to Prism's biggest surprise for you ... which is a Masquerade Ball!

Welcome to the Masquerade Ball! After successfully making your way through the flower maze, you find yourself transported to a magnificent ballroom with dazzling lights and the interior lined with flowers. But one thing you may notice in particular is that you are no longer an animal and are now transformed back into your original form! Except for a few details.

As you pass the mirrors within the hallway leading to the main room, you'll notice that you are wearing a masquerade mask that resembles the animal you turned into today, along with a gorgeous outfit which resembles the flower you grew as well. It's quite a dashing look - and one befitting of a masquerade night!

There is an enchantment placed on attendees of the ball making it so that they are cloaked in full anonymity during the event. However, once the clock strikes midnight, the enchantment will break and you may recognise who is behind the mask! Another enchantment directly relates to the type of mask you are wearing tonight. Those who are wearing the mask of a predator animal will feel inclined to talk to people wearing the masks of prey animals. Similarly, those who are wearing the mask of a prey animal, will feel a herding instinct kick in where they'll want to surround themselves with other prey mask wearing individuals.

At the masquerade, there are all sorts of activities and attractions happening throughout the night. There is a dancefloor accompanied by dazzling lights and music, a refreshments bar for food and drink, an assortment of private rooms featuring beds and chaise lounges for people who want a break from the party (or maybe something else, wink) and an outdoor garden to explore with swinging chairs and Social Butterflies. When one lands on you, you feel very social all of a sudden!

A complimentary cocktail is given on arrival! It's floral, fruity, and really quite delicious. After drinking it, you'll feel the urge to show off after gaining some newfound confidence. Go you!

"On The Prowl" Cocktails are being served throughout the night for the more bold drinkers attracted to strong flavours. These vibrant red cocktails interact with the wearer's mask in a very unique way. Sparkling with aphrodisiac, this cocktail will urge someone wearing a predator animal mask to seek out some prey. In a similar vein, those wearing prey animal masks desire to be hunted. Go grab a room, you naughty animals!

The hors d'oeuvres being served at this party will fill you with energy! So much energy, in fact, that you will feel the urge to dance with the next person you lock eyes with. Time to take to the floor!

Tea or coffee is being served throughout the night and will make you more prone to honesty. More like hones-tea am I right? Hahaha. Okay, sorry. They'll also make you energetic and filled with stamina. Maybe you will party all night long!

a nice egg in these trying times

The rabbit villagers have certainly been busy hiding eggs everywhere! You're invited to join the egg hunt with the promise of a reward that will enhance your life and benefit your cottage farm.

As you wander around the village and discover hidden eggs, you will notice that all of the eggs are patterned with fruit! If the egg has an pattern resembling the fruit growing on your trees, you can pick it up and put it in your basket. However! If the eggs are not fruit from your trees, you can't pick it up - your hand passes straight through it. You'll need other people who can pick up those eggs to plant them in your basket for you while completing a fun friendly challenge set by the bunnies!

(And technically, you can cheat, but you'll be sorry if you do!)

You can obtain an Apple Egg off a person when you gift them a basket of fruit from your trees.

You can obtain an Orange Egg off a person when you share an insecurity.

You can obtain a Banana Egg off a person when you give them a hug.

You can obtain a Pear Egg off a person when you invent a handshake with them.

You can obtain a Blueberry Egg off a person when you complete a favour requested of that person.

You can obtain a Peach Egg off a person when you tell them a secret about yourself.

You did it! After gathering one egg of every design, your prize awaits! Once all of the eggs are gathered in your basket, you will notice glowing wisps in the forest that guide you on a hidden path. After following the wisps, you will find your prize hidden among the flowers and brambles. And that prize is ... an egg!

A much bigger egg than the ones you have hunted today! You'll notice that the shell of the egg corresponds with the fruit that you grow in your garden. When you reach out to touch it, the egg will glow before it hatches into a baby cow! Awwww! The colour of the cow's spots resembles the fruit you grow just like the shell of the egg did! What an adorable addition to your cottage!

Oh, yeah. Did we mention there's a bad ending?

If during the egg swapping activities your were dishonest or unkind, a very different sort of egg will appear. This is a full grown cow with 1,400 pounds of vegetable bovine fury - and it's TRYING TO ATTACK YOU! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

If you fight back, it should be an easy enough fight to win - since this creature is composed of nothing apart from rage and fruit. But do keep in mind that it won't go down without a fight! If you manage to "kill" the cow, you'll have a bountiful harvest, so at least that's something. If you don't kill it, it will escape into the Fable wilderness. Welp. That's a problem for another day.

If you feel robbed of the opportunity to own an adorable fruit cow, you can visit Prism to ask for a replacement egg. This time, make sure you don't tell any more lies or act cruelly. Who knows, Prism could give you another mean cow. Better play it safe!

✿ Kaveh is going to be transformed into an arabian horse! (more like Kav-neigh am I right......... sees myself out)

✿ The flowers that he grows will be marigolds. Known as "the herb of the sun", marigolds symbolise passion and creativity. Suits him! His outfit for the ball will be marigold inspired and very fancy. He'll have a golden horse mask to match!

✿ This man has been very Sad™️ over the past two months so he'll absolutely be indulging in everything the ball has to offer. Dancing, cocktails, everything! He's coping with his issues by drinking and partying..... this guy........

✿ As a prey animal, he'll either glue in with the herd or go and seek a predator animal to demolish him. HMMMMM.

✿ Down for the egg hunt! He should be easy enough to do tasks with, but the thought of Kaveh getting attacked by a cursed cow is sending me, so that's ABSOLUTELY on the table AHAHAHA
